I am currently locked into a 12 month agreement, thankfully almost half way through it, with CenturyLink for Prism TV and DSL internet. My problem is I let them sucker me into this DSL connection with a much lower price tag and the promise of good service. I honestly didn't think I had much to lose.
Boy was I wrong!
My internet speed is supposed to be 12MB but I am lucky if I can even get to 8MB on off hours. Don't get me wrong the Prism TV is great and really cheap compared to any other TV service. I love the TV options and happy with that end of the service.
My major problem is that I have 2 roommates and we are all avid gamers. So the TV and internet are constantly fighting for control of the pipe.
I wanted to know if anyone has been successful in adding a second internet connect, say Cox for example, to there environment. What I am basically looking to do is use the CenturyLink router and wireless SID just for Prism TV, while connecting Cox to another router with a different wireless SID just for internet access.
