CenturyLink is running a scam business. I signed up for new internet service and told them not to send me a modem as I had my own. They sent the modem anyway, and then charged me TWICE for a modem I told them not to send. I promptly returned the modem to them using the UPS return label that they provided. Three months later I got a $100 charge because they claim they never received it, and cannot help in providing a tracking number for a return label they provided to me! UPS cannot locate a package without a tracking number, which I repeatedly told CL, to which they repeatedly responded with "please get the tracking number from UPS". Complete Scam - I am trying to tell everyone I possibly can to avoid them at all costs.
