[CenturyTel] Centurylink frequent disconnects

Ok, so I'm posting here since googling my issue revealed I'm not the only one facing this issue. Long story short, myself and my neighbors live on a gravel road, and have been dealing with horrible issues for around 5+ years. Techs have been dispatched no less than 50 times, and the most any have done is change the filters on the modem. The line I've been getting recently is "your too far from the DSLAM" I am at wits end here. Disconnects are constant and have seemingly to rhyme nor reason beyond a crappy connection. Modem is a PK5000. Here are my current WAN stats. Downstream Rate: 2368 Kbps Upstream Rate: 480 Kbps ISP Protocol: PPPoE Encapsulation: LLC Bridged PPP Status PPP Parameter Status PPP Type: PPPoE Status: Connected User Name: redacted LCP State: UP IPCP State: UP Authentication Failures: 0 Session Time: 0 Day, 00H:01M:29S Packets Sent: 2856 Packets Received: 2945 Modem Uptime: 2 Days, 01H:08M:10S Broadband Status DSL Link Status DSL Mode Setting: Multimode DSL Negotiated Mode: G.DMT DSL Link Uptime: 2 Days, 01H:06M:51S Number of Retrains: 101 Retrains in Last 24 Hours: 13 Link Train Errors: 204 Transport Status VPI: 0 VCI: 32 ATM QoS class: UBR MTU Size: 1492 Packets Sent: 4724655 Packets Received: 4891566 Error Packets Sent: 0 Error Packets Received: 0 30 Minute Discarded Packets Upstream: 0 30 Minute Discarded Packets Downstream: 0 Channel Status Channel Type: Interleaved Near End CRC Errors: 0 Far End CRC Errors: 0 30 Minute Near End CRC: 0 30 Minute Far End CRC: 0 Near End RS FEC: 0 Far End RS FEC: 229396 30 Minute Near End FEC: 0 30 Minute Far End FEC: 22577 Levels Downstream Upstream SNR: 6 dB 8 dB Attenuation: 63 dB 31 dB Power: 16 dBm 12 dBm Currently, this is my only option for service, which is horrible, because they just ran a fiber backbone a 1/4 mile from the house, and the nearest drop for that is almost exactly one mile from the house. I've asked multiple times for something to be done. I'm not terribly familiar with DSL specifically, but worked comms while in the military, and am baffled as to why a line booster could not be installed halfway between us and the DSLAM. What can I do here?
