Not sure what is going on recently with this modem router. Things were working okay until recently. I had the firewall set to low and had a port forward rule so not much customization. The last week though I noticed the port that was forwarded is not working.
I went into system log and see entries with
"Firewall Firewall drop: IN=br0 OUT= MAC=40:8b:07:c2:6a:d0:00:1f:c6:e3:27:d1:08:00 SRC=192.168.0.2 DST=67.6.189.205 LEN=52 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=128 ID=15859 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=50492 DPT=65501"
I went ahead and shut the firewall off and yet that hasn't changed the above behavior. I read in another post here regarding this modem that it would be possible to telnet in and see which iptables rule is effecting things. I did telnet in but haven't found the way to see the rules.
It's baffling and I'd like to resolve it. I did call CL and was told port forwarding was an advanced feature that is unsupported, but to use google to find answers.
I'm on Windows 7 and do not have a router behind the modem using the built in router for my wifi needs.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
