[CenturyTel] Returning customer, billing issues x2

We had CL phone service in Florida back when it was Embarq (we were supposedly too far away for DSL). Due to the ever-escalating monthly costs, we dropped it a number of years ago. We had been with a variety of wireless providers until the Millenicom 50% price hike. I found we could get 512K DSL for $29.95/month, so on April 5, I called in and asked for a DSL only service. Fast-forward to last week and the first bill of $157.03!!! I found $58.33 for the $29.95 service, $15.00 activation fee, plus pro-rated periods to include the "fees" (taxes) and taxes. I was OK with that amount. The remainder was for a single line residential service I didn't order. On 4/24 I called and talked to a helpful girl at customer service. She didn't know why we had phone AND DSL, but stated removing the incorrect service & charges would leave us a balance of $56.99. I told her I was OK with the $58.33, but she said a credit of $100.04 would be issued, so all I'd pay would be $56.99. Today (4/27) I'm paying my monthly bills and noticed my CL balance due is $79.52. So tomorrow it's round 2 for calling... -- Current setup: Parabolic grid, Cyfre CA-819, MC760 in Cradlepoint MBR95. Left Sprint MBB after 2+ years, went to VM "unlimited" for $20 less/month until it was "limited", then to MC. 4/14: Dropping MC due to 50% price hike! Next: DSL?
