After watching "This week in Google, Episode 238", I realized one of the Internet Industries experts listed CenturyLink as a Open Connect member. However, I still get crappy video during Prime Time, and had to resort to a VPN to fix it, which works beautifully on my computer. Below is the story on the Comcast+Netflix deal and they explain how the entire setup path between Netflix and the Customer works in great detail. In fact, this guy lays it all out in an easy to understand way as to why people are having trouble with Netflix streaming, how peering works, why the Comcast deal saves Netflix money, and why this is not a Net Neutrality issue at all.
