CenturyLink are in the process of upgrading old copper lines along the street that turns onto mine with fiber, assuming that they then continue upgrading the lines down my street, is this likely to have an effect on the internet service available to me?
Currently, my only option is 1.5MB DSL, it's OK for browsing, but pretty quickly runs out of steam when trying to watch YouTube/Netflix, and attempting to upload anything or use Skype is painful. I am hoping that they upgrade the lines on my street, and that they then offer faster internet service. I work remote 2-3 days a week, and it can be pretty stressful having to deal with the slow connection.
Thanks.
