I hope there are some knowledgeable people around, I need some help deciphering the issue with my DSL service. We have 20Mbps bonded, run a C3000Z modem, and for the last week there has been almost no internet. This was our 6th service call in the last 12 months. Here is what the modem shows: DSL1 - 10Mbps; DSL2 - 1.56Mbps; Internet: Not Connected.
From the phone interface box, I can disconnect the DSL2 wires (the orange pair). The DSL2 light on the modem turns red, and the Internet signal connects, and we get around 5-6Mbps, via DSL1 only, I presume. This happens when I hook the modem directly to the interface box, and with the existing wire in the house.
This means there is a problem with the DSL service coming in, right? The issue isn't inside the house wiring?
Thanks
