1gbps Service Issues Upload consistently 35% faster

So I am running speed tests consistently these past few days on my new service on a wired connection directly to the zyxel centurylink provided router which connects directly to the ONT and to the junction. Before getting 1gbps I had the 40mbs/5mbs service and it always hit the advertised speeds or even more. Now on the 1gbps I have sometimes gotten 900mbps+ for both download and upload like 10% of the time and this is great. Personally I expect 800mbps to be perfect. What I am getting however are speeds that showing upload speeds to be always faster. nothing is leeching on my network. 800-900 UPLOAD and 500-700 DOWNLOAD are the averages I would rather have them be the opposite whats going on? You guys got any ideas? I was thinking of buying a short patch cable and connecting it to the junctiuon and testing from there to rule out the 100ft fiber cable currently in use. But if the fiber cable was bad the upload speeds wouldnt be doing so well would they? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED DRIVING ME CRAZY lol
