I have used RemoteDesktop for years, and the are a few hoops to jump through, but I've always been able to make it work from outside my home network, until now.
To recap:
1. Port forward is set in the modem to desired ports and browser port check tool shows them open
2. Machines on local network are set to static network ip.
3. Windows firewall has inbound port rule on each machine.
4. Windows system is set to enable remote desktop.
5. The RDP port is changed in the registry for each machine
6. Remote Desktop works inside the network, but I cannot get through the modem even though the specific port tests open.
Any ideas?
