For the past several years, the advertised fiber speeds in Seattle have been 40/5, 100/50, and 1000/1000. In fact, in the past two weeks I called after our 24 month contract price of $35 for 40/5 had expired and had our account put on 40/5 for $40. I've visited the appropriate pricing website, which used to have mentions of giftcard rebates of $100 or $150 on it. https://www.centurylink.com/fiber/plans-and-pricing/seattle-washington/
In the past week, centurylink revised away the giftcard promo but now appears to be offering different speed tiers, perhaps?
Selling 40-80, 100-140, and 1 gig speeds seems like a different way to do things, particularly at the same price. Does anyone know what's up with these new plans?
