Many retrains

A few months ago I upgraded my Centurylink service and got a new C1100Z modem. Things have been working fine, but about a week ago I started losing network connections frequently, and when I did have a connection I notice that my speed is significantly less. The tech guy had me reset my modem and that didn't help anything. He can send a guy out to my house, but not for a few weeks which is particularly bad as I work from home and need internet, and also it is my son's birthday next week and he is getting an X-Box because he wants to play games on the internet. So I thought I would check with you guys to see if you have any suggestions. Here is the diagnostics. I note a lot of DSL retrains given that this was reset a few hours ago: DSL Status Connection Status DSL Downstream: 5.653 Mbps DSL Upstream: 0.202 Mbps DSL Link Link Statistic Status Broadband Mode Setting: Auto Select Broadband Mode Detected: VDSL2 - 8A DSL Link Uptime: 6M:44S Retrains: 9 Retrains in Last 24 Hours: 9 Loss of Power Link Failures: 0 Loss of Signal Link Failure: 9 Loss of Margin Link Failure: 0 Link Train Errors: 36 Unavailable Seconds: 1867 Estimated Loop Length: 3470 feet Uncanceled Echo: 9 Transport Mode: PTM Path Parameter: N/A Priority: 0 Service Type: PTM - Untagged DSL Power Levels Downstream Upstream SNR 11.1 dB 13.2 dB Attenuation 17.2 dB 10.7 dB Power 17.2 dBm 10.4 dBm DSL Transport Transport Downstream Upstream Packets: 10351 8022 Error Packets: 0 0 24 Hour Usage: 4557.520 Mbits 316.344 Mbits Total Usage: 4557.520 Mbits 316.344 Mbits 30 Minute Discarded: 0 0 DSL Channel Levels Near End Far End Channel Type: Interleaved Interleaved CRC Errors: 384 257 30 Minute CRC: 2335 442 RS FEC Corrections: 10999 114 30 Minute FEC Corrections: 21633 705 Any thoughts?
