I'm thinking about signing up with CenturyLink, and I have a question about what they're willing/allowed to do during the install.
My goal is to avoid running new wiring myself. My computer equipment is all in a room on the north side of my house, and that room doesn't have a phone jack. The NID is on the south side of my house.
Would CenturyLink be willing to run an outdoor cable from the NID, around the house, and into that room? That's what Cox did when I signed up with them since the room didn't have a coax jack either.
Going through their website shows a $150 install charge for my address. I'd make a rough estimate of 100ft of cable needed to make the run from the NID to the desired location.
