I am relocating to North Las Vegas, specifically around the Alliante Hotel area, and I'm trying to sort through Cox and CenturyLink. CenturyLink is offering me $45/month for 40Mps down (no mention of upload speed).
Will I truly get in the ballpark of 40Mps? I work from home and need internet, but I basically watch Netflix and game with my buddies. This would work for all my needs. I could get a basic antenna and see if I can pick up ABC/CBS/NBC/PBS
Is CenturyLink difficult with their cap? I am coming from a market with no cap.
Basically, long-windedness aside, is CenturyLink a viable provider for North Las Vegas/Alliante area?
I like the idea of going with CenturyLink and getting a price "for life" -- I hate haggling.
