Hey just had Centurylink installed here in Vegas today and a tech showed up to install said they would run cat5 inside my house, but when a second one came by they just used my exisiting cat3 line. I'm signed up for the 40Mb/s plan should I call centurylink and have them install cat5? Secondly I have been looking on ebay for a modem to purchase and I see the c2000t is pretty cheap. Would that be good to use? I have VDSL2 bonded. They gave me a Actiontec C1900A. I called and tried to get the C2100T, because it is dual-band wifi, but none of the people I talked to knew what I was talking about. The store that I called offered to replace the c1900a with a c1100z, but online it shows that it doesn't support bonded connection and isn't dual-band either. So I was just hoping someone could help me out with the first question and see if someone had any suggestions on a modem I can get. I don't mind paying $99 to CL if they can get me the c2100t instead of what I have now, but if I can't get it I'd rather buy one of the cheaper ones off ebay.
