Centurylink Twin Cities fiber install => Fail.

So, I ordered fiber on 8/11/2015. Confirmed install date was 9/10/2015 (today). In the past few weeks, I got a call confirming it (well, they seemed to be almost talking me out of it), and 2 snail-mail letters with the work description, workorder numbers, dates, etc. Ok, great, so I anxiously await fiber on 9/10/2015. Fast forward 29 days, and here we are. Noon rolls around, and - No Tech. No call. I call support, and they sound helpful - told me I'd get a call back; no dice. Support center called back to check on me, nice! And put me permanently in the (45 minute) phone queue to somebody who actually could see the ticket, and they are "still programming it at the office." I'm a little skeptical, but they say it might still happen within a week. Oh, and because I signed up online, apparently I get a $100 gift certificate. But the fine print says to qualify, service must be activated within 30 days. Today is day 30. Coincidence? ;)
