Modem settings for upgrade from 7 mbps to 12.

I am having trouble getting my old modem up and running after a move and speed upgrade. There are a number of variables but I think I've eliminated most of them. Last week I moved to a new home about 10 miles from my previous one. As I talked to the tech setting up the move she was trying to talk me into upping my speed. I agreed based on the condition that I could keep using my non-supported modem. They do their thing and 5 days later give me the okay to self install at the new house. My modem doesn't work, no DSL connection. I plug in a century link official modem and it works fine. So check, the lines are good, service at the new house is all set up. But I want my good modem/router. I figure either my preferred modem doesn't support 12, or the settings are incorrect. I'm hoping one of you can confirm that theory and give me an idea of what settings I could try. Preferred modem: TP-link N600 DSL settings: DSL Modulation Type: Auto Sync-up Annex type: Annex A Enable Bit Swap: (checked) Enable SRA: (checked) WAN Settings: VPI: 0 VCI: 32 Connection Type: PPPoE Connection Mode: Always On Authentication Type: AUTO_AUTH Enable IPv4: (checked) Enable IPv6: (unchecked) Default Gateway: pppoe_0_32_0_d Service Name: blank Server Name: blank MTU(Bytes): 1492 Enable Fulcone NAT: (unchecked) Enable SPI Firewall: (unchecked) Enable IGMP Proxy: (checked) Use IP address Specified By ISP: (unchecked) Echo request interval: 30 Set DNS server manually: (unchecked) I also made a screenshot if that's more your thing: http://i.imgur.com/JTjgsuf.jpg As I was making the screenshot I had another thought. As part of the move they assigned me a new DSL telephone number. Is there a chance that my PPP username or password changed as part of that? Thanks
