I have VDSL2 - 8A bonding with Prism TV in Phoenix, AZ. I currently have 20 Mbps / 2 Mbps service (although I'm getting the full 5 Mbps that's been provisioned).
I'm seeing an option to get 40 Mbps service on my account, but everyone I've spoken to via chat or on the phone are telling me that what I have now is the fastest with Prism TV.
Could someone please take a look at my line stats and provide some feedback on how things are looking and if higher speeds could be achieved?
When I asked about deployment of different VDSL2 profiles, support chat didn't know what I was talking about.
Here are my line stats...
DSL 1
Downstream 21.818 Mbps
Upstream 2.745 Mbps
SNR
19 dB downstream, 10 dB upstream
Attenuation
20 dB downstream, 0 dB upstream
Power
17 dBm downstream, 6 dBm upstream
Modem reports estimated loop length of 4944 feet.
DSL2
Downstream 21.818 Mbps
Upstream 2.745 Mbps
SNR
21 dB downstream, 13 dB upstream
Attenuation
21 dB downstream, 0 dB upstream
Power
16 dBm downstream, 8 dBm upstream
Modem reports estimated loop length of 5256 feet.
I've emailed talk2us and received an initial reply and sent a follow up email but haven't heard back.
It was a pain to get them to install a bonded line to begin with earlier this year.
Funny thing was when I had prism tv only service, I saw the modem syncing at 43 Mbps down on just 1 line.
Thanks everyone
