[Embarq] help with cat5e from NID to new phone jack

Hello all. I need some help. We got 10M DSL installed in eastern NC. The tech hooked to the Nid and I told him we would run cat5 to a phone jack. Got 100 feet of cable and hooked from the NID to a new jack (swe pictures). We get dial tone inside at the new jack but a red light on the modem. When we hook outside to the test jack we get a green DSL light. So something is wrong with the wiring. I'm using the blue and blue/white wires. What am I doing wrong ? Any help is appreciated.
