I have had 2 wks. of one problem or another with my Cent.Link internet svc.
On May 30(Fri.)a tech came to my house. He told me the reason I am having frequent drop-outs is because of an old aluminum box on the pole at the end of my driveway. He also said that there was a line coming off that pole that needed to be cut. He said that once those things are done, my connection will be stable. He said he could not perform the work himself but would send the 'cable guys' out on Monday. When he told me this I remembered that this was also told to me 6 yrs. ago by another tech from Qwest. They never did replace that box 6 yrs. ago, so I finally gave up & switched to Cox Cable svc.
So now here I am 6 yrs. later & I still have the same problem & Century Link still will not fix this problem.
And every time I call tech support & tell them this they put me on hold & I somehow get disconnected. These 'disconnects' happen no matter if I'm on my cell phone or on my home phone. I have called tech support 16 times in the last 2 days & every time I get disconnected.
Hey, Joey or Doug, is this what you call customer satisfaction?
I only have a limited amount of cell phone minutes & I have used half of my 3 month allotment trying to talk to your tech support!
I really can't beleive this is happening!
So if you can help me I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance
Jim
