I'm moving to a suburb of Salt Lake City (Kearns) which unfortunately doesn't appear to be serviced by UTOPIA. As such, I'm looking at different DSL and Cable options.
When I look at residential Internet options, the fastest speed the online ordering tool lets me choose is 20M/896k. However, when I look at business Internet options for the same address, I can go as high as 40M/2M.
I'm trying to understand where the discrepancy is:
1. Is the business configuration going under the assumption that this will be a bonded service with two lines, whereas the residential service would only use a single line?
2. Is 40M/2M actually possible with a single line at my address, but the residential tool isn't taking that into account?
Is line bonding actually available for residential services in SLC at this time?
