This is something that is still under my skin from last month when I made a change on my account and the system made it look like I had a past due balance but did not. After a 2 hour chat and convo with a sup. I got it credited. Anyway on Pg. 2 of the bill it states:
This bill was deposited in the U.S. Mail by the 21st of this month. Payment is due by the date printed on
¦¦ page 1. If payment is not received within 25 days of the mail date, a 1% late fee may be assessed on your
¦¦ retail telecommunications services and a $6 late fee may be assessed on your CenturyLink Internet
¦¦ Services.
Farther Down it states:
LATE FEE REMINDER: Late fees may be charged each month for any eligible unpaid balances
¦¦ not paid in full by the due date listed on your bill. The methods for calculating late fee amounts vary by state and product. For more information you may access Terms and Conditions, and Tariff materials at
¦¦ http://www.centurylink.com/Pages/AboutUs/Legal/Tariffs/displayTariffLandingPage.html?rid=tariffs, or
¦¦ call CenturyLink customer service at the phone number indicated on this bill.
¦¦
.... so is my bill due 25 days from the date it was mailed or the 6th when it says it's due? will I get a late fee assessed for paying after the 6th or 25 days after the mailing date of the 21st of Dec.?
bottom line CenturyLink is a JOKE. THE MOST CLUELESS EXCUSE FOR A TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY EVER!!
