Hello again peeps.
I live in Central New Mexico, near Albuquerque (Tijeras, NM) where CenturyLink has 40/5 service. The modem (C1000A) actually links at 50/5 and I routinely get speed tests at 47/4.9. I am exactly, as measured by both Google Earth and my measuring tape (Measured from house NID box to the modem) 1711 feet from the fiber node, with only two other residences between me and the fiber connection. I have 60ft of CAT6 from the NID un-interupted straight to the modem. The NID and all its contents are brand new July 2013.
What I want to know is if it is possible for me to get 20mb upload speeds, and if so, how? I am thinking about taking advantage of JustCloud's unlimited cloud storage service but I want it to feel more like a local USB hard drive and that requires faster upload speed.
Below is some of the data taken directly off the modem
DSL Downstream: 50.111 Mbps
DSL Upstream: 5.12 Mbps

I know on 8A I am limited to what I have now, but is it possible for me to talk CL into a 12A profile, or is my profile predetermined because of my physical location, and or distance from the main ISP servers? Not exactly sure how all this works but I am trying to. lol
