So, I went to order CL simple business 100/10 online. I chose the self-install kit option and went to check out (but did not hit the submit button yet). I clicked on a link to read the terms and conditions and a new tab opens and says "Thanks for your order!" with order number install date and everything. I go back to the other tab and it's still the same, not submitted yet. I check my email and have a confirmation with order number and install date from CL. I check my CC pending transactions...nothing. I check my CC pending transactions the next morning (today)...nothing. I go into my CenturyLink account and it says I need to add a payment method...yeah.
Long talk with CL, but I end up cancelling as they want to charge me $60 for a tech to do the install. They said on 100mb connections a tech is required, and that the online orders don't go through often and you have to call, lol. Do I really need a tech for the 100/10? Really? Does anyone have experience with this?
