CL PK50001Z prevents sharing wi-fi

Recently got CL. after sending two different modems-all PK50001Z. Problem is I have three laptops. An old Toshiba running XP, a newer HP elitebook running W7, and a MacbookPro running 10.6. I can easily have the 2 Windows laptops connected to the internet and running the same SSID concurrently-no problem. As soon as I login with my MBP it bumps the Windows PC off the connection. With no other PC logged in I can connect the MBP to the internet via wi-fi with no problem. The modem has the latest firmware. Some online have said they have only been able to get a PC and a Mac to share a connection via MAC addressing. 1) Anyone have an idea why this is happening? 2) Am I connecting via DHCP or PPP? I never entered any PPP username, so it must be DHCP Thanks in advance! JT
