I just moved into a new home. The home itself is new construction, but the neighborhood its in has been established for several years.
I have been checking the CenturyLink website regularly during the past month, and it has said that 120 Mbps VDSL2 is available at my address during this time. (Both residential and small business).
Now that I am ready to order, however, its saying high speed internet isn't available at all for residential and only 7 Mbps for business - and not just at my address, but all the neighboring addresses I tried. I know for a fact that service IS available in this neighborhood - I have seen CL modems in neighbors' homes. Most houses also have a CL NID on the house. I also know that I am just a stone's throw away from the DSLAM (which is FTTN based on what the website used to say - "advanced fiber technology.")
I'm assuming this is just a database error? What's the best way to go about getting them to fix this and let me order service? I have never had much luck dealing with the call center, but I'm going to give them a call shortly, I guess.
Thanks.
