Speed difference between address with service vs address without

A new DSLAM as just installed in front of my house. I was checking speeds on the Centurylink website and saw that an address without DSL service can now signup for 80/20 but an address with current DSL service can only get 6/1. The addresses are right next to each other and on the same side of the new DSLAM. The current DSL service is connected about 8,000 feet away to an old DSLAM. It looks like the address without DSL service would be connected to the new DSLAM. Is there a way to get the 80/20 if you currently have service? If I were to cancel my service and then signup again do you think it would then let me signup for the 80/20? I know a suggestion will be to call Centurylink but they, as usual, do not have a clue how to do this.
