So long story short, we just bought a new home outside of town where Comcast doesn't have coverage. CenturyLink 100Mbps is the best we can get. We've been in the home for about 3 weeks now and I feel like I'm always having connection issues. I started out using my own R9000 router as the WiFi source with their Gateway. I seemed to have times where the internet was unresponsive for several seconds to a minute or more. I finally decided to remove my R9000 and simply try their Gateway as the WiFi source. Obviously the range sucks but I feel like I'm still having issues with the connection. They provided me with the C3000Z Gateway when I signed up (initially with 80Mbps service) until I was informed 100Mbps was available. So to the point... Is this the best Gateway option currently available ? Also, what range should my DSL Power Levels be within ?
