I have a family member in rural WI that has had Centurylink dsl for sometime. Years ago they had offers to upgrade to 10 mbps internet for $5 more per month but never jumped on it. Now they are told that 3mbps is the max available at their residence and faster speeds are not possible. Are there any avenues they can take to get higher speeds? 3mbps seems extremely slow for max possible speeds..
