prepaid vs postpaid and bonding

Currently in my area prepaid is $10/month cheaper than postpaid. Customer service rep tried to steer me towards postpaid, saying advertised speeds were "guaranteed" 90% of the time vs 50% of the time for prepaid. I'm skeptical - how could that be? In short, is it worth extra to go with postpaid? Also... Given that tech install is required at 80Mbps and above, I'm guessing that's where bonding happens. 80Mbps and 60Mbps are the same price, except for the $60 required install for 80. If the 60 option delivered said speed reliably I would probably be happy with it and would just assume save the $60 (as the seedbox I use to download virtually everything barely sustains half that speed). So, will paying the extra for bonded service be worth it for me?
