I ordered new service install for CenturyLink about a week ago (minus holiday and weekend) and theres been nothing going on yet. Sign-up rep advised I could "probably" get 60mbps but put the order in for 40 / the day went by without any call from the install tech (since its fiber I was using a tech) I called customer service the next morning and was told they can only offer 25mbps Install was slated for yesterday.
Nada.
Called again today and was told all they can offer was 10mbps with 786 up / (better than I have currently) I told them to DO THE INSTALL and worry about speed later. Looking at tomorrow.
My issue is this is a house I am trying to buy I work from home so have certain speed requirements that need to be hard-line. The property is less than .5mile from the fiber on the hwy. S. FM 116 and Willow Loop Kempner TX 76539 can someone in a wizard hat Please tell me if I can get decent cable to work or am I facing withdrawing my offer on this house :huh:
