After 6 months of rock solid bonded 60/30 VDSL2 service, I came home yesterday to no Internet, and it is still down. Hoping the gurus here can shed some light.
Both DSL lines are up and clean, with great signal levels, but the Internet connection is continually trying to authenticate and failing. The Internet light on the C2000t is rapidly flashing green and red.
The crux of the issue appears to be that the DSL service type being received on both lines is PTM-Untagged and it needs to be PTM-Tagged(201)
I'm almost certain the problem is on CTL's end, and my patience working with low tier tech support is worn out (Yes, I have rebooted the modem numerous times. Yes, I have factory defaulted the modem numerous times. Yes, I'm certain my username and password is entered correctly. Even the default walled garden credentials don't work.) The support session ended with the rep telling me that I need a new modem. Perhaps, but I'm not convinced.
Any ideas from the gurus here on how to get in touch with a higher tier of support who can actually look at the ports serving me and check to make sure they're properly tagging?
Here are the endlessly repeating logs and the status of one of the DSL lines (both are nearly the same.)
