Does anyone know the difference between the small business and residential 1Gbps services?
All I can get from the sales reps is that they both use GPON, but the Small Business 1Gbps line has better support and office 365.. which, as you might agree, is not worth $175 extra per month.
One sales rep implied I could connect fiber directly into my modem (USG-XG-8) with small business line, but if its GPON, then that's wrong.
Any insight? Better contention ratio? Do I basically get a dedicated GPON line? Do they guarantee 1Gbps vs sharing the GPON with 32 people etc..?
