Currently, I live on my grandfather's property. He holds our Centurylink account, though he lives elsewhere. We're in agreement that I should take over the account.
He is paying $105 a month for 10 mbps dsl and a landline. I just want the dsl. So, I plan on calling CL with my grandfather and telling them this: either he can cancel the account now, and I call back later to start a new account under the intro $35 rate, or they can save themselves the trouble and transfer the account to me under that rate. I'm fine with contracts.
Anything I should be aware of?
