Centurylink Upgrade package problem

I have had Centurylink for over 8 years. I recently upgraded from 10mbps to 20mbps. When I chatted with them, I told all I wanted to change was the internet speed. They installed the service, it works GREAT. The problem I have is I lost VOICEMAIL on my phone service. I called to complain, they said I can add it for $2.50 a month. My total bill went up $15. Why is voicemail NOT included in the phone service? I have had it since I started with them. WHY wasn't I told it would drop JUST voicemail? Really why would it just drop voicemail? Bad customer service! Second, i told them to add voicemail, then they told me I would have to call again between 8am-6pm. I work during that time, Most of the time I am on hold for more than 10minutes when I call. last time I was on chat had to wait over 20min. So i can't call on lunch. WHO can help me get my NORMAL voicemail back on my service? I really think it should be FREE since I wasn't told ANY of my service would be changed!!!
