Have moved to Zip Code 27312 and the only provider is CL. Unfortunately, we seem to be on oversubscribed equipment and we have an outage at least once every two weeks.
The last two outages (Red DSL lamp on Modem) the Customer Service has given us a technician 5+, 6+, 7+ days out from when we call. So, we have ZERO service and all of our network functionality is dead in the water.
We have placed a complaint with the FCC, CL claimed that the issues were temporary and now fixed.
Our circuit went out this time yesterday (1/11) at 4:00 PM--the soonest they claim a technician can come out is on 1/16 at 7:00 PM.
Does this seem normal for CL and their support of DSL.
