Our modem indicates that it's receiving 9+ mbps coming in but when speed test is run on isolated pc(s) we only get .7 mbps download speed. I have had many conversations with Centurylink tech support even with Microsoft tech support & no one yet has been able to identify the problem. We have a new modem and I've even tried an additional new modem with the same results. We have a new Belkin ethernet cable & running Windows 10 with Malwarebytes & Vipre antivirus installed. We turned off "Updates from more than one place". For a while there were errors building in the modem and apparently they've done some things (switched port, new jumpers, splitters etc.) to solve that. Centurylink rep insisted last night that one of our devices must be causing this. I've isolated two different pc's (and turned off wifi) and still no success.
I would appreciate any advice or direction in order to get the full capacity that is available.
