CenturyLink VOIP reporting incorrect name on out going calls

I just spent an hour talking to a Century Link Technical Support supervisor regarding a problem we are having. When we call people outside of our Century Link service area the wrong caller ID is being reported. Most of the 2 million people in our area ( including (E-911) is not Century Link). So this is a big issue. The solution that Century Link Recommended was for us to call all the telephone carriers to report the incorrect caller ID and have them change their database! What a bunch of crap! If a family member dies due to E-911 getting the incorrect Caller ID they have a huge problem in my opinion! We had Verizon/Frontier for 30 years and never had any issues. There has to be another solution to the caller ID issue....anyone have any ideas?
