We've been with CenturyLink at this location for about a year and periodically (every week or two) we will lose internet which is always correctable by power cycling the modem. CenturyLink support has told me this is just the way it works. Is there a solution to this:
1. Static IP ($20 per month more)
2. Get a different modem
3. Figure out a way to automatically power cycle the modem.
My concern is that if this happens while we are away from home, then I will not have access to my home network, security system, etc.
Any other ideas?
