Guy comes around the subdivision the beginning of August offering 40 mb fiber optic from Centurylink. While signing up, the salesman is on the phone with Centurylink and tells me due to capacity issues it wn't be available until Sept 8th. Ok, I can wait. On the 6th a modem arrives and I hook it up. 12mb and dsl, which the router reports is a bad connection. I call them, I was told I signed up 12mb dsl. I cancelled. Once they send me to the cancellation 9talk em out of cancelling and sell more services guy) I am offered 40 mb for less than the $44 I was being billed for 12 mb. One again he denied I was sold fiber. I offered to email him my paperwork. I still say cancel, then he offers me cell phone serices, direct tv or prism.
