Throughout the month I've been dealing with high ping and low, erratic connection speeds unsuitable for anything but basic chatting and web browsing. Now, thankfully, this has been an intermittent issue, usually lasting several hours once every two weeks before seeming to resolve. Since last time it happened during the early AM hours, I'm not inclined to believe this is a congestion issue.
The line quality test paints a clear picture:

Now, I'm not an expert, but I'm willing to wager the problem is being caused by faulty hardware at 173-248-66-237.centurylink.net, hardware that no one has thought to fix or replace yet.
