Internet constantly going out from 12AM-6AM

I recently got a new modem from Centurylink, A Zyxel C1100Z. Ever since I've gotten that modem my internet has been worse than before, over 50000 error packets, internet going out at random times throught the day, and me being able to access no sites from 12AM-6AM. I'm trying my best not to blame this on the modem but could it? Or should I get someone out to my house to check my lines?
