Gigabit fiber was just deployed on my street, and I'm doing as much off-line research as I can before calling up Centurylink to get the sales pitch. I've learned a lot in this forum and others, but one piece of info I can't seem to find anywhere is: what are the contract terms? I'm understanding that the 1-year and 2-year contract terms are promotional pricing; that said, is there an early termination fee? If so, if the service were to experience severe service issues (such as chronic low speeds, continued outages, etc), what options to customers have to get out of the contract?
