downloaded a new map for BF4 and when i was looking to play noticed pings were high. after a few tracerts i see it isn't my stuff but just a few hops from me. did some searching and someone said a fiber line was cut somewhere in the mid west. not sure how that is causing issues here even to sites locally hosted sites. but looking at some of their network traffic info maps, even their MPLS network is taking a hit. Anyone actually call in or find an explanation is? My internet is working, just high pings.
a cut line would fit with causing traffic congestion. at least my internet is working. some on the down detector page says they have no internet access. Just looking for more info. given the effect is hitting their MPLS, i doubt it will still be going on pat tomorrow. Assuming it is a line cut.
