Been having problems with my connection, I have a zyxel pk5001Z modem. My connection speed I pay for is 8meg which is about the max they offer. I am about 3/4 mile from the DSLAM as far as I know. My speeds have varied from .1 on the speed test to approx. 8 meg. When I am having trouble, there are several retrains on the modem in 24hr period and s/n ranging from 9.9dB to 21.6 dB. The power level shows approx. 19.0 to 20.4 most times and the attenuation is 34.7 to 35.3. In the last 24 hours, I have had 7 retrains, 3 link train errors, Near end 194745 CRC errors,
89640766 RS FEC Errors and 191 seconds down time. I would like to use dslstats to plot some of this but cant get it to work with my modem. Help!!!!
