New VDSL2 Modems from Netgear

Netgear has long made third party ADSL and ADSL2+ modems that have worked well on CenturyLink circuits. They don't explicitly say "CenturyLink" on the pages for their two newest modems, the D6400 and D7000 (Amazon), but there's no reason they shouldn't work, and I'm tempted to find and buy one. (The D7000 in particular, because the R7000 is one I'd look at if I ever wanted to bridge.) Alas, it looks like there's no bonding here, but it could be a good way to get away from the C1000 for anybody who isn't having good luck with theirs. Unlike the unlabeled ZyXEL devices, these have gigabit LAN. The Amazon reviews say that it's a good replacement for CL's provided modems, potentially even if you're on a slow link, this could be a good way to get a 5GHz or 802.11AC wireless LAN that'll last you a few years.
