Found out by talking the local tech last week I may be able to upgrade from 25/2 to 40/5. Sure enough called local Centurylink store and confirmed to be installed the next day. About 3400 feet out of DSALM on VDSL2 now but tech said may have to go to ADSL2+ bonded even before tech came. Here is where it gets interesting. Over the last 2 years on VDSL2 line las never retrained once. Modem stats look great. SNR is 17/16 dB, attenuation is 20.3/8.7 up/down and CRC is very low after months. Well when line was condition for bonded line failed. There is a 900 foot section that is bad and they are going to replace. Wonder how the internet could be so great on a failed line?
