CenturyLink 1 Gigabit speed cut in half using my own Asus Router

I picked up the Asus RT-AC87R router today and I FINALLY got my own router to work with my 1Gig service. I went into the router's settings >> LAN >> IPTV >> and set the VID to 201 for Internet. Entered my PPPoE credentials and the Internet went live! My download speeds will not go past 375Mbps. The upload is just fine, but download is not. I did read online that there can be issues with this and that I have to enable NAT Acceleration. So I went back into my router's settings, clicked LAN >> Switch Control >> NAT Acceleration is set to "auto." There's a disable option, but that's it. I also saw an "Enable Jumbo Frame" option and I turned that on to see if that would help, and it did not. Any ideas? Thanks!
