Does anyone have any ideas on this issue?

I have 2 bonded dsl lines (20/2). I have a Actiontec 2000A Modem/Router combo which I bought from Centurylink. The Actiontec is in bridged mode and the wifi is shut off. I have a Apple Airport Extreme connected to the Actiontec which is serving as my router. I also have a Apple Airport Extreme in another part of the house acting as wireless relay or extension to the Main AAE. This arrangement has been working fine until about 6 weeks ago. At that time I would randomly find that I was disconnected from the internet. It would generally occur every 2 or 3 days. This happened at all times of the day and night with no particular pattern. As soon as I unplugged my Actiontec Modem and AAE Router and plugged it back in I would reconnect to the internet and everything would roll along for 2 or 3 days until the same thing repeated. Centurylink says that I am randomly failing to authenticate with their system which causes me to be disconnected. They tell me that this is the fault of my Apple Airport Extreme Router and not their equipment. They say since I have the Actiontec 2000A in Bridged mode it is up to my router to provide the information to authenticate my account. I could accept that I guess except I have now tried 3 different Apple Airport Express Routers and the same thing continues to happen. I find it hard to believe that all 3 of the Apple Routers could be failing. Does anyone have any idea as to what could be going on. Since Centurylink maintains it is a router failure they have nothing further to offer. They have come out and checked the 2 DSL lines and the stats on them seem fine. I know I could just return to using their Actiontec as as Modem and Router but this will not provide adequate coverage for my house. and I don't know what to do to accomplish the desired coverage if I did that as the 2nd Airport Extreme Router does not seem to want to relay the Actiontec.
