poor comminication, service and billing

Initiated internet service in June 2014 with promise for it to be available on Friday June 27th. Did not happen. Finally called to be told I would be contacted by phone in 2 to 3 weeks for installation. Centurylink never called. Instead I received a bill on Saturday July 26th for service not even available to me. Only able to reach the service department and they said it was actually due to be installed between August 4th and 14th. Had to call Monday July 28th to cancel and was promised that bill would be zeroed after well over an hour on hold. Today after 4 more phone calls and promises to remove charges nothing has been removed from my bill for services that I have never had. Extremely poor communication and service. Feel that centurylink has total lack of integrity and recommend that customers stay away from doing business with them.
